Los Angeles, CA (October 7, 2009) –  Pop/rock/urban songstress SHANELL aka SNL of Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment is one of the new artists asked to lend her support to Hard Rock Café's worldwide campaign for Pinktober, a Breast Cancer Awareness initiative led by various "Women of Rock" including Melissa Etheridge, The Bangles, and others. While on the Young Money tour in Europe with Lil Wayne, SHANELL appeared at the Hard Rock Café in Amsterdam on October 6th for a special signing of one of the custom-made pink ribbon Epiphone guitars to be auctioned off for charity.

SHANELL, known for writing Lil Wayne's rock/urban hit "Prom Queen," is also enjoying breakout success in Europe with her two singles on the Urban Top 100 Chart in The Netherlands. Her debut record "Play in My Band" featuring Lil Wayne entered at #88 and remake of "Party All the Time" with Aubrey O'Day from Danity Kane has charted the past 6 weeks. Also buzzing all over the internet and US radio, both songs are featured on the eclectic music sampler "A Taste of Shanell aka SNL" which introduced her unique sound during the highly successful Young Money Presents: America's Most Wanted Tour. "Play in My Band" will be officially released on the highly anticipated Young Money Compilation album coming in December 2009 with labelmates Lil Wayne, Drake, Mack Maine, Gudda Gudda, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Lil Twist, Jae Millz and Lil Chuckee.
