When Hip-Hop first heard of the alleged assailant that shot one of the reigning kings of Rap, 50 Cent, he was thinly veiled in 50 Cent’s legendary freestyle, Ghetto Quran. It’s been almost ten years now and with time served, the man who put that scar on his face is still in hiding.
The Rap Game’s newest member Draze took time to visually give us a mental map of the events leading up to the Get Rich or Die Trying star’s tragic shooting. With the now former street hustler turned music mogul and meteoric rise to fame, Rapper Draze provides his version and visual mindset of “the shooter.”
Aligning 50 Cent with one of his favorite gangsters, Tony “Scarface” Montana and Rapper “Draze” as the recently released “shooter” himself, the story is told as an actual account with vivid details from the enemies, the snitching and the payment that lead to those now infamous “9″ shots being fired. Names have been changed to protect the parties involved of course.
“I know people will say I am trying to exploit this cat, but that’s not it at all. I’m just outlining what has been told to me thru my music. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson ‘s fans are sure to see another side of the mega star,” says Draze.
