About Shonie:
Immediately after moving to Miami, the young doe–eyed songstress began her longtime journey as a singer. At the age of 17, "SHONIE" was offered a recording deal with an independent record label in Miami named "South Beat Records". It was there that she met her manager James Jackson of Slick Salt Entertainment, who released her nationally distributed mix tape, which was hosted by the infamous DJ Khaled. The female vocalist originally came onto the music scene as a Rapper. "I have the gift to be versatile, so I plan on showing both sides." As any aspiring vocalist/songwriter/Rapper would do, "SHONIE" kept her musical goals at hand. To date she has worked with the likes of various nationwide celebrities including Hip-Hop Superstar Trina, on the tracks such as "Wish I never Met You", Flo Rida, B5, Trick Daddy, Cool & Dre and more.
About Nove:
Nove is something to behold because he has stage presence, energy, and a tight staccato flow. With his upcoming LP entitled Still Here (dedicated to the haters), Nove was ready to bring Slick Salt the long awaited recognition and platinum status they deserved.
Sadly "Nove" was unable to release a solo album due to the untimely death of his son but has released many underground albums, going just gold is not an option for the young platinum potential lyricist. Generating such diverse hits, Nove is destined to freight himself from the Southern underground to national illumination.
