Detroits own Princess of Hip Hop will be sharing the stage with Universal Republic Recording Artist K'Jon

Chicago, Illinois – June 30, 2009 – Lady Te will be traveling to New Orleans performing with K'Jon at the Mayor's Welcome Party in New Orleans on July 3rd.

The invitation only event marks the opening of the Essence Music Festival weekend in New Orleans.  The Mayor's Welcome Party will be hosted by the legendary MC LYTE, and will also feature R&B artists Noel Gourdin, Letoya Luckett, and LaKisha Jones.

Lady Te will be performing "What's Really Good" from K'Jon's forthcoming album at the event that begins at 8:30PM, and concludes at Midnight, in Generations Hall, 310 Andrew Higgins Drive, New Orleans  LA.
