Houston, TX – Dr. Teeth's latest video masterpiece was accepted and placed in rotation on MTV Jamz. The single, "Lavish," is the debut mainstream single for Rapper Metro P, and features southern crooner Bobby Valentino.
This latest addition makes the veteran director three for three, since his return to video directing after the passing of his father. He is responsible for the now popular videos for Dallas star Dorrough, "Walk That Walk" and "Ice Cream Paint Job." "I'm grateful for each opportunity that I get to do what I love," Dr. Teeth explains when asked about the project. "This single and video doing so well is a testament to the fact hard work and perseverance pays off. Metro believed in himself and funded the entire video out of his own pocket. I have a huge amount of respect for him, and his talent," he goes on to state.
Other than making hit videos, Dr. Teeth is delving into film projects, currently working on his feature film debut with Mike Epps. "It's a great experience working on this project with Mike, I've done short films before, but this is a totally different animal," he states. Teeth is expected to make an appearance at the 2009 BET Awards where he is also hosting a private affair with media giant AllHipHop.com, and other prominent directors. "I'm learning to live everyday to the fullest, taking the time to enjoy my journey."
