Now signed as an artist/writer with Caspaws Music Group, Shawn King has produced his first single "In the Club" which is in heavy rotation in the United States; his other smash hit, "Chunky Monkey," has been taking over the overseas market, predominantly on the Croatian charts. With significant industry experience already under his belt, Shawn King proves he is a tremendous new asset to Caspaws Music Group. It is clear the chemistry he & producer DJ Casper encompass has truly help establish the buzz already surrounding their single "In the Club." DJCasper, SK and the rest of Caspaws Music Group are currently in the studio completing SK's debut album. Caspaws Music Group is comprised of four multi-talented artists and writers known as Kiddfresh, Beano, Ms.Mela, Shawn King (SK), and under the guidance of the International DJ Casper. Kiddfresh and Beano have teamed up to form the super group "SWAGGED OUT," who also have a smash single out entitled "LAY YOU DOWN PT2." Kiddfresh and Beano have opened up for prominent artists the likes of Akon, Beanie Siegal, Ron Brown, and DJ Unk just to name a few. Taking over the Myspace scene with over 40k Myspace friends and a huge fan to consumer ratio, "SWAGGEDOUT" is surely the next group to rise on the scene. Adding the female swagger to this mix is the young and attractive songstress Ms.Mela, whose collaborations with the "SWAGGED OUT" duo and Shawn King have definitely brought the edge and flavor back into the mix. With her own current single out, "Catch Me if You Can," Ms. Mela has been receiving growing praise and recognition in the International Market. Ms.Mela's iconic pop tunes and style make her more than ready to conquer the International scene. Entering the music scene at the early age of thirteen, DJ Casper has truly earned a name for himself. The local club owners, promoters and the artists on the Mixtape scene began to call him "The Youngest in Charge." Using his local celebrity acheived from DJ'ing, he used this as a starting point to expand his reach throughout the Philadelphia and tri-state areas. He was featured at the largest club venues, DJ competitions, and did guest appearances on radio stations. In 2001, DJ Casper toured with Hustle Child and the late Gerald LeVert on the 'Live Vibe' Tour, traveling all over the world as far as Europe and South America; from that point on, he was known as "The International DJ Casper". DJ Casper has made sure not to limit himself to one sector of the industry, as separate from his career as a premier DJ in Philadelphia. For the past several years, his underground projects have kept him in his studio away from the public eye. His latest developments have allowed him to pursue his passion for producing, which led him to start his elite self-titled music group. DJ Casper's efforts have made a significant impact on the music industry for 2009 and strives to become a driving force in the industry for years to come.
