Burbank, CA, 1/25/09 (Hip Hop PR Wire) — Inspired to help our crying economy, American Boutiques LA is determined to dry up those tears, fashionably. A new concept in retailing has emerged: a fashion co-op. The boutique’s beautiful 5500 square foot space is home to new and existing Los Angeles fashion designers who hold domestically made and eco-friendly fabrication at high priority.

Since opening on New Years Day 2009, designers have been moving in to join this new and exciting collaborative environment. All designers have full access to the in-house fashion design studio equipped with new CAD technology (pattern-making, grading and marker software), digitizer, plotter and screen print equipment as well as the professional photogRaphy studio located within the retail space. Offices on the second floor are used to run individual retail businesses, private design rooms and designer and artist studios.

American Boutiques LA pampers their customers as much as their designers, providing shoppers with a completely unique retail experience. The boutique’s mezzanine is used as a lounge area, a wholesale showroom, and an area for hosting parties, fashion shows and workshops. A small gallery featuring exhibitions of LA-based artists is located on the main floor. Lastly, professional photogRaphers will take headshots for modeling shoppers, a service complimentary with every purchase. A photogRaphic collection of “customer models” is proudly displayed on the storefront as well as online, showing the boutique’s genuine adoration for its shoppers. American Boutiques LA believes in strength in numbers and invites dedicated patrons of fashion and designers alike to come and experience this innovative space for creative exchange.
